There were days when I clung to the camera, letting it see for me, waiting for fleeting images to appear. Through photographing and developing, I measured the distance between myself and the fading present. Looking back, those moments of instinctively pressing the shutter feel as natural as breathing or walking, yet deeply woven into the fabric of daily life. Sometimes, I regret not raising the camera in certain moments—perhaps that’s why the images always seem lighter than reality. And yet, it’s this very lightness that made me hesitate to capture them freely. In the end, they remain nothing more than fleeting afterimages—glimpses between my eye and the lens—both near and distant from memory.
