《期間》以帶有距離感的窺視視角,拍攝各地出現的工人們。人呈現得小小的,不拍出臉或紀實的汗水。觀看許久後逐漸發現在既有規則之下的不穩定——那些佇立於危險結構中的工作者,所配戴的帽子、手套,以及纜繩與高空吊籠等裝備,措施簡易地套入形式,實質發揮的保護作用相對薄弱。人在這之中的主體性被縮小,放大了觀看者、配戴者的恐懼想像,以及護具的空洞感。攝影師出身於工人家庭,亦將無法真正抵達施工現場的那點好奇和扭捏,一併放入鏡頭之中。

“QIJIAN” captures workers across different locations through a voyeuristic, distanced gaze. The figures appear small, with no faces or documentary details such as sweat.

As one lingers, instability emerges beneath an apparent order: workers stand within precarious structures, equipped with helmets, gloves, cables, and suspended platforms. These safety measures seem formally applied, yet their actual protective function is strikingly fragile.

In this setting, human subjectivity is diminished, while the fears of both wearer and viewer—and the emptiness of the protective gear—are amplified. The photographer, whose father is a laborer, weaves into the work a quiet curiosity and unease toward worksites that remain ultimately out of reach.
