看電影時，
常常會好奇那些鏡頭下的動物是否還活著，
應該都死了吧。
受洗後被雪白簇擁成聖的驢子、
倒臥水窪裡主人旁逡巡的狗回返那 120 分鐘，
它們卻又好像永遠蟄伏。
悲傷的兒童與悲傷的蟲、
悲傷的青筋與悲傷的貓，有些死了，
有些（該）還活著這之中，沒有一件事物停滯，
也沒有一件事物搏動。

朱旻修1987年生於花蓮，現職導演。
導演作品目前以MV為主，作品包括
VOOID、DSPS、海豚刑警、Cold Dew、
Evisbeats、恐龍的皮等等樂團MV。
此攝影集記錄著作者在2007年-2016年裡，
剛接觸攝影，再到父親死亡之間，
自身對生活及生命狀態的投射。
事物是所有萬物，狀態是現在。
While watching movies,
I often wonder if the animals shown on screen are still alive.
They are probably all dead.
The donkey, sanctified by a white shroud after baptism,
The dog lying beside its master in the puddle,
circling back to that 120 minutes,
Yet they seem to be eternally dormant.
Sad children and sad insects,
Sad veins and sad cats,
some have died,
Some (probably) are still alive. Among these,
nothing is stagnant, And nothing is pulsating.

Min Hsu Chu was born in 1987 in Hualien,
and is currently a director.
His directorial works are primarily music videos,
including VOOID, DSPS, IRUKA Police, Cold Dew,
Evisbeats, Dinosaur Skin… etc.
This Book collects the photos from 2007 to 2016,
from first encountering photography to the death of his father,
reflecting his own perceptions of life and existence.
“Things” are everything , and “States” are the present.
