折返的視線群貓好像佔據了整個村落，我安靜地走進這個村落，遠遠的看著他們，數十米的距離，我跟他們相望。他們總是渺小、無聲的存在那。
折返數十次，他們似乎開始認得我了，於是在我面前持續著他們的日常，漸漸地，我們開始有機會拉近彼此的距離。有段期間，不是只有我看著他們，他們也看著我。我拍下他們，他們也沒太多表情，只是靜靜的看著我。
隔了一段時日，他們對我開始視若無睹，自顧自地過起他們的生活，有的愜意地走著、有的若有所思地的坐著、有的逍遙自在地躺著、有的則毫無防備地睡著了。
再隔不久，他們開始邀請我加入，而我彷彿進入了另一個世界。
所有物種總是以不同型態，展現著生命本身難以繪測的多樣與差異。同樣的，每一張影像皆無法是單純複製、固定現實的產物，而是意指感官朝向世界開放的關係。在更多時候，「拍照」的意念即來自觀看—攝影者對於他者存在的感知、覺察。
貓在這些影像中的地位就好比攝影師在他眼前的環境中，基本上，拍貓的過程儼然成為一種自身的心理投射。你看到的不僅是這貓如何在那景裡，你看到更多的是，我眼前的自己。
如果我是一隻貓，我應該是隻黑貓。
This group of cats seemed to have occupied the village. I walked into the village quietly and watched them from a distance. I was facing them at a distance of dozens of meters.
After going back and forth many times, they seemed to begin to recognize me, and so they continued their daily lives in front of me. Gradually, we began to have the opportunity to get closer to each other. For a period of time, it wasn’t just me watching them; they were also watching me. I took pictures of them, and they didn’t show much expression, just quietly gazing at me.
After a while, they began to ignore me and lived their lives as they pleased. Some walked leisurely, some sat thoughtfully, some lay down freely, and some fell asleep defenselessly.
Not long after that, they began to invite me to join them, and I felt like I had entered another world.
All species always manifest the immeasurable diversity and differences of life itself in various forms. Similarly, no image can ever be a mere replication or a fixed representation of reality; rather, it signifies a relationship in which the senses remain open to the world. More often than not, the very act of “taking a photograph” originates from the act of seeing—a photographer’s perception and awareness of the existence of others.
The status of cats in these images is like that of the photographer in the environment in front of him. Basically, the process of photographing these cats has become a psychological projection of myself. What you see is not only how the cat is in the scene, but what you see more is my self in front of me.
If I am a cat, a black cat perhaps.
