大約15年前重拾相機拍照,初始以風景花草為主,偶然接觸到日本攝影家-荒木經惟、森山大道、中平卓馬…等人作品,深受震撼,便開始轉向以街拍為主並延續至今。

剛開始使用單眼底片機,但因拍攝情境所需,改用自動底片相機,又因拍攝量過大,最後改用半格機。也因曾在達蓋爾研習黑白底片沖放,所以後來都是自行沖片再送掃,當然大多使用黑白底片、含少量彩負與即可拍。這本攝影集的5個主題分為西門町、貢寮、通勤、碧潭、台2線 ,時間落在2017、2018,算是轉向街拍後自覺較有理解與感受的開始。是試圖在不同場域裡,紀錄下事物更替與光影流動所交錯的瞬間記憶。

About 15 years ago, I picked up a camera again and began photographing primarily landscapes and plants.By chance, I came across the works of Japanese photographers such as Nobuyoshi Araki, Daido Moriyama, and Takuma Nakahira. Their powerful imagery left a deep impression on me, and from then on, I shifted my focus to street photography—a path I’ve continued to follow ever since.

I initially used a single-lens reflex film camera, but due to the demands of shooting conditions, I later switched to an automatic film camera. Eventually, as the number of shots increased significantly, I transitioned to using a half-frame camera.Having previously studied black-and-white film developing and printing at Daguerre Studio, I began developing my own film and sending it out for scanning. Naturally, I mostly shoot with black-and-white film, along with a small amount of color negative and disposable cameras.This photo book consists of five themes: Ximending, Gongliao, Commuting, Bitan, and Provincial Highway 2. The photos were taken in 2017 and 2018, a period that marked the beginning of a deeper understanding and emotional connection to street photography for me.It is an attempt to capture fleeting moments where transitions of light and shadow intersect with the ever-changing elements of different environments.
