《築地魚市場》是沈昭良自1993年起所分別投入的數個創作議題中，最早也是其截至目前為止歷時最久的攝影專題。約莫從1993年末起至2009年為止，沈昭良每年幾乎不分寒暑，固定地游移在築地清晨的人群中，近十七年來未曾間斷。《築地魚市場》是國內針對堪稱全球最大魚貨批發市場——日本東京築地魚市場，首部深入而具結構的影像紀錄。沈昭良除了藉由對於市場景況、漁貨產銷的脈絡式疏理，亦在影像紀錄中蘊藏交錯的敘事，實踐紀錄攝影在語法、表述、美學與視覺呈現上的諸多可能。全集採中、英、日文對照，使用FSC環保紙張，高精細度黑白印刷。本書於2012年獲得美國IPA 國際攝影獎紀實攝影集首獎。
Among the work topics subjects from the different period of Shen Chao-Liang’s life, Tsukiji is his earliest one devotion, and the longest so far.
Since from around the end of 1993 till now, every year when Shen goes to Tokyo on a business or personal trip, he always visited and walked mingled around in the morning crowdedness in of Tsukiji. Tsukiji Fish Market records a objective perspective to fish market’s development throughout 16 years. The presentation of images shows the interrelationship between people and the photographer, the narrative of this environment and provides the possibilities to interpret what has been recorded. The album will be published in Chinese-English-Japanese trilingual format and the most advanced printing technique will be adopted.
